Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. I have been re-reading them during Spring break and was also able to enjoy the new movie that just came out Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I even found where they first have a brief mention of one of the antagonists Gellert Grindelwald who Dumbledore defeated in 1945(Sorcerers Stone). I had a ton of fun looking through some great books I received from my husband for Christmas all about Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts. My kids absolutely love and adore the movie so that makes it super fun!!

Okay do again missed a day although I will allow myself that where we are camping their is no WiFi so I have to type these amazing revelations on board my Note 4. I know, I know why do I have such an old phone but that is an entirely different story that involves the Note 7 situation. This post revloves around games that incorporate books. There are some fun adaptations which take popular games and create traditional games involving characters and settings from the books. Also games that are created especially based around the books. But a few times I have discovered a couple games that are simple book inspired. The one I just found is fun for all ages. All you have to do is balance all the books between two shelves. Super fun and has a wonderful cat as well.

Unfortunately I already failed on my 30 day challenge but as a middle school librarian I have grace for everyone including myself. Today I want to share about the most awesome postal delivery service every called OwlCrates www.owlcrates.com. I have a video of my first unboxing which I will find and post here. I will also post next time I will post the whole unvieling for April. It is Spring Break for the Sequim school district and I finished my first book Caraval by Stephanie Garber. If they ever made this book into a movie I would be the first in line to watch it. Talk about exotic settings and colorful characters. I thought I had the whole plot figured out but shock me to the core. Donatella and Scarlett are trying everything in order to get flee their abusive father. Scarlett, the oldest, has it all figured out with an arranged marriage. While Tella, grabs every sailor avaliable until the dreaded wedding is 10 days away. In the space of a day their fate is forever changed vy tickets to the infamous Caraval where the winner gets one wish. It is a fantastic book and definitely a must read for any young lady in need of a good mystery with magic strewn throughout.

30 Day Challenge

I have challenged myself for the next 30 days to write or record a message about books or reviews. I'm in love with young adolescent literature and have the perfect job as a middle school librarian where I get access to all sorts of good books. In part, I want to help kids find and review books, but it is also an excuse for me to practice writing. I love to express myself in the written word but after having three children who are under the age of nine have made it hard to find time to have a creative outlet. So I have accept a personal challenge for the next 30 days to do what I do best which is to read and then to try to get better at expressing myself through written word. Forever I have been in the confines of educational writing and I'm ready to break out creatively. So hang on to your hats if you are paying attention and get ready to be overwhelmed with books and funny weird episodes of me at hopefully my bests.
